Children Desiring God | 6:00-7:30 - Wednesday Evenings
We utilize the "Children Desiring God" studies that were developed by John Piper's church, Bethlehem Baptist Church. The goal of the studies is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.
Kids Worship (Children's Church) | 11:00-12:15 - Sunday Mornings
Kids' Worship begins at 11:00am each Sunday in the Chapel. This time is designed as a church service for your children on their level using the Elevate curriculum. The kids participate in a time of music, a lesson that incorporates a Bible story, skits, videos, puppets and object lessons. We also take an offering that is used for a mission project.
Sunday Small Groups (Sunday School) | 9:45-10:45 -Sunday Mornings
During their small group time, children study God's Word as well as apply it to their lives through creative teaching, crafts, music and hands on projects. We have classes for 2 year olds (before September 1, 2010) through 5th grade.
Children's Camp
Children's Camp is a great opportunity for kids to experience a powerful time of worship with awesome music and guest speakers geared just for kids to strengthen their relationship with Jesus. The kids will also participate in games, crafts, cabin times and lots of other cool activities. Kids that have completed 3rd - 5th grades are encouraged to join us!
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a great opportunity to learn about Jesus in exciting and creative ways! Children and adults alike will be caught up in the theme and fun. We are already preparing for VBS 2012. Be sure to join us June 18th-21st when the SKY is the limit! Children who are 3 years-Kindergarten will meet 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 1st graders thru those who have completed 5th grade will meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. All are invited to join us.

Nursery
At Emmanuel we believe that we are called to receive, nurture and treasure each child as a sacred gift from God. In proclaiming that sacredness, we carry a commitment to love, shelter, protect and defend all children in our care. We want to share God's love with our preschoolers by ministering to their needs in a caring and nurturing environment. We have a wonderful staff in the nursery and great volunteers who will treasure every child.
Kids Day Out
Kids Day Out is a Christ-centered program for children ages 6-weeks-Pre-K. We provide a quality experience for your child in a nurturing environment designed to bring out the best in each child. Kids Day Out is a two day-a-week program and is open on Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Children are placed in the appropriate class using the September 1 date.

Security Measures
Thank you for allowing us to serve your family. We take the safety and security of your child very seriously at Emmanuel. All of our workers undergo background checks and screenings before they are allowed to work with your children. We also have a computerized check-in system and a parent notification system that we have in place. Please read more in the attached letter about our check-in and parent notification systems.

Children's Small Group Sunday School - 9:45-10:45 - Sunday Mornings
Table Leaders: These teachers teach the lesson to a small group of children each week. The Class Director and I will provide direction and curriculum materials for assistance in leading the table.
Class Helpers: Assist the main teacher with the children during story time, snack time, free play, arts and crafts, etc.

Children Desiring God - 6:00-7:30 - Wednesday Evenings
We will utilize the Children Desiring God studies that were developed by John Piper's church, Bethlehem Baptist Church. This year's studies are To Be Like Jesus and Jesus What a Savior. We are in need of lead teachers and helpers. This program is available for children 4 by September 1, 2010-5th grade.
Kids Worship (Children's Church) - 11:00 - 12:15 - Sunday Mornings
This time is designed as a church service for your children on their level using the Elevate curriculum. The kids participate in a time of music, a lesson that incorporates a Bible story, skits, videos, puppets and object lessons, and offering that is used for a mission project. We are in need of rotational helpers that will help the kids during small group times, and provide supervision during the service. These positions are monthly or bimonthly.
Sunday Morning Greeters
Greeters are the first face to the Children's areas and help new families get checked in and find their classrooms. This position can be every week or every other week from 9:30-10:00.
